Perfume Gun, Editions Frédéric Malle, presented by Stoelzle Masnières wins the Jury's Favourite Award.

The winner of the Formes de Luxe Award 2021 was announced on September 28 during the Luxe Pack Monaco. Perfume Gun, a unique collection of home fragrance guns, washonoured as the Jury’s favourite. Frédéric Malle’s design is a creation of mixed functionality, innovation and humour.

Stoelzle Masnières Parfumerie is very proud of their first collaboration with the Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle teams. This was the first bottle treated with the innovative powder coating technique Quali Glass Coat 2.0, which has now been rewarded by the Formes de Luxe jury. Applied to amber bottles, commonly used in the pharmaceutical industry, the 40-micron powder coating gives a perfectly smooth surface with a beautiful high-end matt finish.

The new, environmentally responsible powder coating allows for an impressive finish whist significantly increasing the mechanical resistance of the bottle’s surface. It is completely solvent free and helps save up to 77% of CO₂ emissions compared to standard lacquering. It is offered in a wide range of colours for both transparent and amber bottles. In addition, traditional decoration techniques including fine laser engraving can be applied to the bottles. The use of powder coating makes it possible to offer a range of new decorative effects with very low environmental impact.
